Underwater hull cleaning requires specialized equipment that undergoes a series
of tests to ensure that when utilized by trained divers can safely and adequately

Cofferdam Chapter Training Aids
In support of Change A to UWSH Manual, Chapter 16 - Cofferdams, two powerpoint presentations
have been developed which can be used by Fleet divers in training to the revised requirements.
They include a presentation on Cofferdam Design and a
presentation on Cofferdam Training and Operations.
