Underwater Breathing Apparatus
There are currently two UBA systems in use by EOD Forces; the MK 16 Mod 0 UBA is deployed to all EOD Units and detachments and is the primary system. The VIPER UBA system has recently been introduced and is in use by the Very Shallow Water Mine Countermeasures (VSWMCM) Detachment. Naval Special Warfare also uses the MK 16 Mod 0 UBA.
