Here you will find Unlimited Distribution (Distribution Statement A) chapters of the Underwater Ship Husbandry Manual that have been converted to HTML format, as well as links to the safety summary, appendices, illustrations and tables for each chapter. The chapters that have been converted to HTML format are:
chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 19, 24, 27 and 28

When the user clicks on a link to a given chapter, the cover page for that chapter appears. The user may then proceed to the Table of Contents for the chapter and then link from the Table of Contents to display a particular section of that chapter. The user can then click on the "back" button of the internet browser to return to the previous page.

If the user clicks on a link to an illustration or a table, the illustration or table will be displayed in a new browser window. The user can then close the new browser window in which the illustration or table appears and will be taken back to the previous page, where the link to the illustration or table originally appears.

PRINTING:
HTML text files can be printed directly from your browser. Because many of the images are sized to provide a high level of detail, the following steps should be followed to print oversized drawings and illustrations. When viewing the image, right click on the illustration or drawing and use the "SAVE AS" (or "SAVE IMAGE AS" for Netscape) function and save the drawing to your local drive. Open a program such as Kodak Imaging for Windows or M.S. Photo Editor, open the image document (normally saved as a .GIF, .TIF, or .BMP file) and use the print command from within this program. Before sending the print job, use the printer controls to adjust the "image options" or "print format" and specify "FIT TO PAGE". If your printer has multiple paper options, this is the time to select a larger paper size if appropriate.

NOTE:
These chapters are the most current version. Table 1-1 in Chapter 1 lists the applicable Revision and the most recent change that has been made to that Revision. Click on Table 1-1 in the previous sentence and it will be displayed. Click on the Chapter number in Table 1-1 and you will be linked to the cover page of that chapter.
